- A set of key values describing the overall eCTD contents upon submission. Metadata includes particulars in relation to the dossier submission. (Meta data on a document level is also included within the eCTD examples for metadata on a document level include versioning information, language, descriptive information such as document names manufacturer, the type of submission, and related data items etc).
