Definition
Dose dispensing means that, usually at a pharmacy or a hospital pharmacy, a medicinal product is placed in a dose container for that specific use. The dose container can contain one or more doses of a single or several medicinal products. Dose dispensing is usually carried out for: -individuals, institutions and companies that, in connection with patient treatment, rescue services etc., use medicinal products for the treatment of patients -certain (named) patients receiving treatment at a hospital or another institution -other certain (named) patients.
