- ICH: An inorganic or an organic liquid used as a vehicle for the preparation of solutions or suspensions in the synthesis of a new drug substance. EDMQ: A type of liquid pharmaceutical dose form consisting of a vehicle that contains no active ingredient itself, and is used to dissolve, disperse or dilute another product. Note Qdossier: a diluent is used to dilute liquids whilst a solvent is used to disolve for example a power for solution (solid matter)
