- Definition
- In relation to stability testing for prescription medicines means: A sterile liquid, supplied as a component of some medicines or as a separate product, and intended for use in reconstitution/dilution of the drug product in preparation for administration (e.g. water for injections). Note Qdossier: a diluent is used to dilute liquids whilst a solvent is used to disolve for example a power for solution (solid matter).
